Things to do on Arran

Walking
Arran is a great place for walking. Nearby Goatfell is the highest peak on the Island and takes about 4 to 6 hours. Many more walks are detailed on WalkHighlands.co.uk.

Cycling
The Isle of Arran is a popular destination for cyclists. If you don’t want to bring your own bike you can hire on from Arran Bike Hire. Arran Bike Club has a list of popular routes.

Mogabout

Beaches
There are many picturesque beaches on the Island.

Golf
There are seven golf courses on Arran and you can purchase a “Golf Pass” that lets you play on all seven courses. GolfOnArran has more information.
For the less serious golfers there is also a newly refurbished Crazy golf course in Brodick. The Taste of Arran Taste of Arran shop will allow you to purchase access.

Distilleries
There are two distilleries on Arran; Lochranza Distillery at the north of the island and Lagg Distillery at the south end. Both have a visitor’s centre and offer guided tours.
